Copper Ridge is the largest subdivision in Whitehorse but will one day be overtaken by Whistlebend. Located 15 min from Downtown atop of Two Mile Hill giving many of the homes great views. The subdivision started to take form in the mid-’90s and was mostly built out by 2010. With a diversity of housing types, Copper Ridge is very family orientated and has something for everyone, duplexes, ranchers and luxury homes. Most of the streets are quiet except for Falcon Drive, which is the main loop road. If you want to take the kids to the park, there are four. Whitehorse Trail System
Whitehorse is famous for its hiking and walking trails referred to as Looping Trails and mountain biking trails. Many of them scoot out of the Copper Ridge and can keep you and your four-legged companion fit. The Copper Ridge Trail is part of the historic Trans Canada Trail.

Mount McIntyre Recreation Centre
Mount McIntryre Recreation Centre is host to three clubs, the Cross Country Ski Club, Tennis Club and Curling Club. The Whitehorse curling club has 8 sheets of ice and hosted the curling competition for the 2017 Canada Games. The curling club is well run and very active.
Whitehorse Nordic Centre
Home of the Whitehorse Cross Country Ski Club and Eleventh End Lounge. The club maintains 86 km of groomed trails and another 20 km of ungroomed trails perfect for snowshoeing and ski touring. The trails are open year-round except for a short stint in the spring while they dry out so they can be utilized as mountain biking and running trails. The Nordic Club has one of the highest memberships of any club in Whitehorse.
Yukon Tennis Club
Featuring 4 outdoor courts, the club is very active and organizes tournaments for all skill levels to participate in.
