About Downtown

‍The tallest building in Whitehorse is Mah’s Point at the corner of 2nd Ave and Jarvis Street, reaching six six-stories tall and was built-in 2013. Six stories was the maximum allowed height for towers in Whitehorse, but the City of Whitehorse granted the same development group permission to build an eight-storey building, which is still in the works. Most of the existing condo buildings are less than five stories tall. Whitehorse condo sales are strong, and the future of the condo market looks very good.

Townhouses and Duplexes – Downtown Whitehorse

Townhouse living gives you a bit of what a house offers with a yard and front door plus the bonus of worry-free ownership. Your condo fees cover building maintenance. The yard is also smaller than a house, so you’re not stuck doing yard work all weekend. Enjoy your yard, host a bbq party on warm summer nights or plant an organic garden. Townhouses and Duplexes Downtown give you the option of walking to coffee shops, restaurants and entertainment.

Condo Development Opportunities

As the city develops, Downtown will continue to increase in density. This creates a huge investment opportunity for the savvy Whitehorse real estate investor. I have sold real estate in Vancouver and learned a great deal watching the city develope and how re-zoning radically changed the value of previously undesirable areas. Once a parcel of land is zoned for highrise development, the value dramatically increases. If you would be interested in discussing how to invest in Whitehorse and be involved in a development project, let’s chat.
